Indiana Day Trip

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I love to travel! It doesn’t matter where really, preferably to a place I’ve never been but not a problem to revisit the familiar. We did just that over the weekend.

We drove to Nashville, Indiana. It was familiar but still a quaint little town. It was raining off and on for most of the day so we did a little drive through. I had fun snapping some shots from the car window.

We then moseyed on down the road to Story, Indiana, which I never even knew about until I found it in the book by Reader’s Digest The Most Scenic Drives in America. I wanted to dine in the restaurant which was once a general store, however, they were in between serving lunch and dinner. Story Inn is definitely on my list of return visits.

They offer horseback riding which would probably be a cool thing to do…if you rode horses…which I don’t.
One of my fav pictures. I want to live here…back in the early 1900s.
Looking forward to another visit in the future!
