Day 22 of 40 Days of Lent
“Jesus then took the loaves, and when He had given thanks, He distributed them to those who were seated. So also the fish, as much as they wanted.” John 6:11.
A few things jumped out at me as I read the devotional today.
- God multiplies what little we bring forward and does more than we can imagine for His glory.
- It’s so easy to see problems and hard to find solutions.
- When you allow God to take control of your life, He will multiply His blessings in spite of your circumstances.
Who does that? Who asks so little of us, and when willingly given to Him, multiplies it, not just for His glory, but for our benefit and the good of others! It’s like He does it all–when we willingly turn to Him~
It is way too easy to see problems, and if you’re anything like me, that just leads to a cycle of seeing only the problems. It’s in the act of giving them to Jesus that solutions come. It’s a beautiful thing.
Circumstances…there is usually very little we can do about the circumstances and situations that come into our lives. And that’s okay. When we become willing to let God Him to take control, He will multiply His blessings IN SPITE of circumstances. It’s as if whatever is going on really doesn’t matter…in spite of…
Do you have any “in spite of” circumstances that your are willing to let go of?
Become willing.
