My daughter turned 23 today. How can I remember the whole ordeal so vividly even though so many years have passed? I suppose it has something to do with how meaningful that time was…especially having waited so long to become a mother.

I love being a mom…every happy, disappointing, joyful, loving memorable moment along the way.

I look forward to many more.

Happy Birthday to my oldest child and only daughter. I love you more than words can express.
