I love the blog Stop Lookin Get Cookin. I met Kendra, the blogger behind it all, at the Bloggy Boot Camp conference I attended in Minneapolis a few weeks ago. She was my taxi buddy. Since we met I have become a huge fan of her blog. The fact that she is on her local television channel on a regular basis for a short cooking segment has me in awe. I have prepared a few of her dishes. They are always yummy.
Today I’m baking…again! (Click here for last recipe). I used her recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies, with a few modifications. Here’s the recipe taken from Stop Lookin Get Cookin:
Chocolate Chip Cookie Brownies
Yield: 30 – 40 brownies
Prep Time: 15 min
Cook Time: 20 min
Total Time: 35 min
Great recipe to serve for a crowd!
Ingredients:
2 Betty Crocker brownie box mixes prepared according to package 1 Betty Crocker Chocolate Chip Cookie bag mix prepared according to package
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Spray jelly roll pan with nonstick spray or apply Pan Goop. 3. Prepare brownie mixes according to the package. 4. Pour brownie mix into jelly roll pan. 5. Prepare cookie mix according to package. 6. Drop cookie dough by the spoonfuls over top the brownie batter. 7. Bake until brownie is done, about 20 – 22 minutes depending on your oven. 8. Let cool. Cut. Serve. Store in an airtight container for up to one week or freeze and bring it out when you need them.
I actually made my own cookie dough using a recipe on the back of Nestles’ semisweet chocolate chips. And since Kroger had Ghirardelli Brownie mix on sale, that’s what I used!
Umm…. YUM!!!!!!!! Oh man… totally craving these now!!!
They were tasty…I think. They were gobbled up quickly.
Thanks Laurie – you are so sweet. Now how about those brownies? Pretty darn good aren’t they?!!!
Uh…they went so fast I can hardly remember them! They were good. 🙂
