Are you struggling in your marriage…maybe can’t even pinpoint the reasons?
Are you tired of waiting for someone else to make you happy?
Are you confused and a little scared, wondering what your future holds for you and your kids?
Maybe you feel so alone as you navigate the rough terrain of your life.
Perhaps you are in a difficult marriage to an addict or alcoholic, who may or may not be in recovery, or to someone who is emotionally unavailable.
I understand.
Living in a dysfunctional family can steal your joy and leave you feeling hopeless.
It can add untold stress to the everyday functions of life.
BUT THERE IS HOPE!
Struggles and dysfunction don’t have to define us – they can even drive us to create and live fuller lives, lives of peace, joy and healthy relationships. Life CAN be different for you and your family.
Here are excerpts from a few personal notes I have received from readers and clients:
“The insight and wisdom you share on your blog, through speaking engagements and in one-on-one sessions have given me fresh hope for my life.” Beth – Louisville
“Your thought-provoking questions and the way you listen – like you really care – I feel like you genuinely care about people. I feel like you genuinely care about me.” Pam – Pennsylvania
“The way your share you experience in such an open, transparent way, gives me hope that there is life outside of this mess.” Jan – Ohio
And Crystal from Kentucky left this comment on a post I wrote: “Thanks so much for sharing this. I have been watching the impact of addiction thru my husband the last 8 years. He has struggled with addictions of drugs and alcohol since he was a teenager. I love what you said about how what we think we want is only a substitute for what we need. He can’t seem to break the cycle of addiction…”
Do the words “Peace, Joy, Contentment, and Respect” leave you with a longing deep inside for the important relationships in your life?
Life Can Be Different~
You can experience those things RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE.
Imagine waking up each morning with feelings of hope instead of despair.
Imagine taking care of yourself so you can be the best version of you, for those you love.
Imagine having loving, respectful relationships with those you are close to.
Imagine~
When you become part of this supportive community, you will discover the confident, beautiful, courageous woman God created you to be, and begin to experience a life full of peace and joy as you dare to live one day at a time.
I am here in this space to help wives of sex addicts find the quiet in the chaos and the voices in their heads, so they can figure out their own unique next steps. I do that by encouraging, inspiring and praying for and with these courageous women in a community of other women who share the same struggles.
Your struggles are real. I hear you loud and clear without you even saying a word because I have lived with an addict or alcoholic ALL of my life. My younger brother was both. He died in a car accident when he was 18, after losing control of his car and hitting a tree. Life can become so chaotic.
Two months before my brother’s death I married an addict and alcoholic, though I didn’t know it at the time. The struggles and dysfunction over the next thirty-five years led me to a dark and hopeless place in November 2015. That’s when the healing began and the door was opened to a life I had given up on. I have taken baby steps out of my comfort zone as I learn to embrace the journey, fully engaging in my one and only life, even when it gets messy. I am not defined by what I’ve been through and I’m experiencing joy, peace and exciting new opportunities. I’m excited to blaze the trail ahead of you. We’ll get there together.
I am an ordained minister, a twice certified Life Coach (I prefer to call myself a Hope Coach), and trained women’s mentor. I can give you hope as we wade through the messiness in your life, the mess that lives inside of you. Together we will help you find:

*Feelings of worthiness.
*Hope for today and all the days that follow.
*Self-care; How to know yourself and love the beautiful woman God created…YOU!
*Tools to relate in a healthy way with those you care about.
And so much more…
We can do that one-on-one via phone, Skype or Zoom, or face-to-face if you live in my neck of the woods; or just by reading this blog and participating in the books and courses that are in the works and coming soon! I am also available to come and speak to your women’s group. I would love to meet you all!
I write about ways to grow in spite of the pain and because of all you have been through. I share my experiences and hopes in encourage you in your journey.
