Today I bought curtains for our bedroom. My husband is hanging the brackets for the rod even as I type. This is huge for me.

Our bedroom faces the parking lot. Even though there are blinds on the window, light still shines through. We moved from five acres, which made for very dark nights; to this never-quite-dark-enough place to sleep. Curtains on the window will help tremendously. It needed to be done for oh, about eleven months now. I am just now emotionally and mentally at a place to do this small step. I am healing. God is faithful.

My prayer for today is this: My Father, You are the Lord my God. I desire to love You, listen to Your voice, and hold fast to You, for You Lord, are my life. (Deuteronomy 30:20)

Thank you for your kind words, Jeana and Denise. You are both a blessing to me.

Kathy, at least we’re on the second floor so car lights aren’t an issue!

it’s really disturbing if the window is facing the parking lot. EAch time people start a car, the light would shine in 🙁

“Shelter to the fragile soul,” He lifts us up and holds us all together… Great song to wrap up this blog entry, Laurie. Several pats on the back and a firm hug for your forward motion. You have encouraged me today. ~Jeana <><
