You are just so stinkin’ CUTE!!! I love this message- so many people take on other people’s lives to manage- and it’s burdensome and stressful for them! They feel a sense of either entitlement or obligation. BOTH need to be re-evaluated and carefully assessed. Often? The need is coming from within THEM, not the others.

I learned several years ago that I can’t manage others except my children. I was not even aware that I was doing it, and it was actually very painful. I do well (or sometimes not) to manage my own life and let others take care of themselves.

I’m with you on most counts. That is a good place to live, letting others take care of themselves.

I have enough problems managing my own life…my kids are old enough to manage theirs, for the most part anyway! I do have to take their schedules into consideration but a good portion of their life they are in charge of. I think ultimately it will teach them responsibility and how to be self sufficient.
