Saturday was girl time. All the men of the house were gone…all day. That left me and my twenty-two year old daughter with the house to ourselves.
I had a lot of things I wanted to get done, and I was on a roll until I ran into a glitch. I hate glitches.
I recorded a vlog on my phone. I know I need a better recording device but I like the whole phone thing because I can directly upload my recording to Youtube, and then grab the code and embed it into my blog and bam! Happy, happy!
Not the case Saturday!!! I went to upload and all was good, and then the screen appeared for me to Sign In. I did. It failed. Why? Don’t know! I went to my computer and changed the password and gave it another whack. No luck! What?
The most frustrating thing of all is that it, the screen with the failed notice, gave me nothing. NOTHING! No chance to reset password, no, options. Natta, nil, zip, zero! Did I mention it gave me NOTHING?!!!
I’m the first to admit I am technically challenged. Way better than I once was, but come on! NOTHING?
I seriously spent three incredibly frustrating hours trying to figure it out. Did you know there is no contact info for Youtube or Google (which is how you log in to Youtube)? Nor is there anyone there to engage in a live help-me-out-of-this-bottomless-pit-I-have-fallen-into chat either.
This wasn’t what I was going to blog about, but there you go. I’ll write about the rest of the day tomorrow.
So part of our girls day was my daughter re-filming the vlog with a camera, which works, but not what I was going for. Though I think she had fun. I think the $5 bill I threw her way helped a little too. $5 for 4 minutes…not bad, I say.
If any of you tech-type people have a suggestion to resolve my issue…I’m all ears.
By the way, am I the only one who sings the song S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y by the Bay City Rollers when typing the word Saturday? Does anyone even remember this song or band?
Enjoy!
Okay, I’m finished here.
