Today I’m linking up with Lisa-Jo at Five Minute Friday, where we write for 5 minutes without censor. The prompt is the word “She”.

I’m not really sure she thought it totally through. How could she? She is so young. She is so inexperienced and, though she would never admit to this, she is a little too me-focused.
It’s not easy, I know. It never is. But give it a little time, I silently plead with her. Things have a way of not staying the same. Did you even think about how this would affect your daughter…down the road.
She looks so happy as she smiles at the camera. As she proudly announces on Facebook the change that has taken place. I can’t help but to feel such sorrow. Because I am old enough to know that nothing stays the same for long, and every decision made is far more reaching than what it seems. She’ll find this out too. In time. When it’s too late.
There is such a thing as being too late. Better late than never very seldom applies in situations like these.

Not very many words on this page, I know. Blaming it on 6 AM.
Those words have much meaning. I understand them quite well. Thank you for sharing them
Thanks!
Visiting from FMF, loving this x
