Thanksgiving is getting close! The holidays are upon us. Radio stations are already playing Christmas music and I have started shopping. I am over on Moms are Frugal, talking about holiday memories today. I would love for you to hop on over, read my post and stick around and see what else you might find there. Click here to read my post.
For your information, just in case you haven’t done the math:
Thanksgiving is in 17 days.
Christmas is in 45 days.
The new year begins in 52 days.
Ready or not, let the festivities begin.
Are you ready for the holidays?
Loss is so hard. And, you are right, it happens at so many junctures of grief. I hope the road you find yourself on will take you to memories you have all but forgotten and are just waiting for you to cherish.
Thank you Barb. I like the sound of that!
Happy SITS Day! I hope it is a great one for you! 🙂
I am not ready for the holiday craziness, but I am ready for the family time. 🙂 Bring it on!!! 😀
Family time is great…in fact I could do with a little more of that!
Happy Sits Day! I enjoyed your post about leaving the ones we love behind. Your wisdom shines through when you explain how it is sad they are gone, but the things like letters, and pictures, always keep them alive for us. I hope that by blogging, taking pictures and being the best I can be, my family will never forget me either.
Ah, thank you so much. I do like that about blogging, it leaves a legacy all its own. Thank you for stopping by and your comment!
52 Days! That’s it?! Oh my…the days are going so fast! Congrats on your SITS Day!
Well, it’s a little less now. 😉 It’s flying by! Thanks for stopping by!
Happy SITS Day! I am not ready for holidays cause it is always a crazy busy time and goes by way too fast. Plus my birthday is thrown right in between Christmas and New Years
It’s crazy, busy and my birthday follows the new year. Yippee! Thanks for visiting~
I’m sort of ready. I do love the food that comes with the holidays. Just not all the crowds.
I’m just getting started, but it usually all works out. The crowds? Not a fan. Thanks for stopping by.
I’m not even close to being ready!
No worries, Cassi. You have around 50 days! Thanks for visiting.
Congrats on being the SITS featured blogger! My daughter would so love your bacon and chocolate chip cookies! nd Oh yeah – so ready for the Holidays 🙂
Thanks for stopping by. The cookies are worth the effort and happy to hear someone is ready!
I started to have a minor panic attack just reading this thinking about how much stuff I still have left to do! 😉 Happy SITS day!
LOL…sorry for the anxiety/realty check. Deep breaths. Thanks for visiting!
Lovely guest post. You brought back some childhood memories for me.
Aww…thanks. Such sweet words.
