Freddy the Farm Bureau man has been welcoming people to the Kentucky State Fair for as long as I can remember.
And the BMX show. A Biker jumped over the girl while on his bike. I missed the shot. That’s him wearing the cap at the bottom of the photo.
The food for this year? Sloppy Joes…the “buns” are Krispy Kreme Donuts. Passed on that.
The ever-present Funnel Cake stands were there as well. THAT I didn’t pass on. I shared.
My 10 year old niece entered the following items. It’s always a challenge to find an entry but exciting when you do!
The fair is always the same. A lot of money to get in so you can spend money on things you want.

The fair is always the same year after year. Same exhibits, same shows.
But I wouldn’t miss it!
We go to the Ohio State Fair every summer and the kids just LOVE it!! Same stuff… every stinkin’ year. But we wouldn’t miss every cow milkin’, goat shavin’, ride hoppin’, funnel cake eatin’, people watchin’… minute of it!!!
That’s what I’m talking about!
