I was a on a cool Twitter Chat Saturday night. This is why I love Twitter.
My daughter and I have been watching the Cedar Cove series on The Hallmark Channel. This is a series based on books written by Debbie Macomber. Since I have read every one of those books I thought the series would be a good thing to watch. So far, so good.
For some reason this past Saturday I was on Twitter right before the show was due to air. I saw a few tweets about chatting with Bruce Boxleitner, one of the stars of the series. What the heck, I thought. So I joined the chat.
He responded to one of my Tweets! Don’t be hating.
And then another star jumped on the chat, Barbara Niven. It was a surprise, a bonus, if you will.
And she even responded a little later to a tweet I posted after the chat.
I have no idea why the pics are different sizes, but I digress.
I’m not that much of a star chaser but hey, it was totally cool!
Awesome! I love when “famous” people answer me!
OHMYGOSH!!! You are a STAR friend now!!!! Or should I say- STARS friend!!! I have yet to get on twitter to “chat”… I keep meaning to figure it all out! I just tweet posts to share, and respond to tweets to me. I need to play over there more!! Who knows… maybe Lysa Terkeurst will FINALLY pay attention to me!
LOL Chris. Yep, that’s me. 😉 Playing on Twitter is fun! It also boosts your Klout score which is a plus. Some companies/brands asks for your Klout number.
I am a big Twitter girl, but I’ve never tweeted with a celebrity. OMG. Bruce Boxleightner. My sister and I used to watch Scarecrow & Mrs. King every week!!
I know…pretty cool! Twitter is amazing, and Bruce isn’t half bad either. 😉
How cool Laurie!! I love Twitter too!!
No where else but Twitter is that going to happen!
